Beta vs Live. What's the deal?

Beta: New stuff lands here. You get updates on every launch. Bugs happen. We fix them fast. You're helping us not ship broken features to Live.
Live: Waits for Beta to calm down. You check for updates manually. Boring is the goal. Ships when it's actually stable (eventually).

Do I need an account?

Yeah. Use Google (one click) or email/password (slightly more clicks). Same credentials as the website. Sign up once, works everywhere.

How do updates work?

Beta: Checks 3 seconds after you sign in. Finds newer build. Shows dialog. You click download. Browser grabs zip. You extract over old files. Restart app. Done. ~2 minutes.
Live: You check manually when you feel like it. No surprises.

Windows Defender hates this. Safe?

Yes. Unsigned exe = SmartScreen tantrum. Click "More info" → "Run anyway". We haven't paid for a code signing cert yet. Costs money. We're cheap. App is clean.

Works offline?

Kinda. Download music/mods once with internet. Play offline after. Login token expires every 7 days (needs internet to refresh). Not a bunker app but close.
